NCCSL Outreach was established in 2011 under the umbrella of the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka to carry out development and welfare activities such as poverty alleviation, livelihood development, skills development, entrepreneur development and training, rehabilitation & reconstruction, disaster management, rural development, empowering women, health and sanitation, protection of environment and / or any other relief work in Sri Lanka with a special focus on Small to Medium Entrepreneurs.
Objectives
(a) To carry out development and welfare activities such as poverty alleviation, livelihood development, skills development, entrepreneur development and training, rehabilitation & reconstruction, disaster management, rural development, empowering women, health and sanitation, protection of environment and / or any other relief work & receive donations, grants and loans in cash or kind to carry out the set activities and work with the following organizations in fulfilling the objectives of the undertaking.
(i.) The Government of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka
(ii.) Any Provincial / Local Government Authority
(iii.) Any Local Organization / Company or Individual
(iv.) Any Foreign Government and /or their representatives in Sri Lanka
(v.) Any Foreign non – Governmental Organization or any Foreign National.
(b) To organize relief and carry on rehabilitation measures in times of calamities and disasters so as to mitigate human sufferings, alleviation of distress and losses arising out of disasters and other miseries affecting people in any part of the Island.
